SIMKINS, SIMPKINS

According to the obituaries of siblings of a W. A. SIMKINS, which were found in Marshall County, IA. newspapers, he was postmaster of Britt and editor of the Britts New in January 1913, and possibly with the newspaper as early as 1907. Is anyone familiar with this man? Thanks for any help.
