William F. Dawson Buried at Corwith

Corwith, Sept. 10 - Funeral services for William F. Dawson, 88, were held at the Baptist church, the Rev. A. Ust officiating. Burial was made in the Corwith cemetery beside his wife, who preceded him in death eight years ago.

Mr. Dawson was born in Dewitt, Ill., April 13, 1842, and came to Corwith in 1884, where he lived until three years ago, when he went to Mason City to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Ella Wood. Last January he fell and fractured a leg and had not been in good health since. He died at his home Thursday.

Besides his daughter, Mrs. Ella Wood, he is survived by a son, Charles Dawson of Frontier, Saskatchewan, Canada, and several grandchildren.
