Myrtle C. Davis

Kanawha - Myrtle C. Davis, 88, died Saturday morning at a nursing home in Clear Lake.

She was born June 5, 1879 in Buchanan County Iowa. She had lived in the Kanawha area since 1922. July 31, 1898, she married Martin Leroy Davis, in Vinton Iowa.

She was a member of the Methodist Church in Kanawha. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Carter Funeral Home, Kanawha.

Survivors include two daughters, Miss Lela Davis, Kanawha, Mrs. Donald (Doris) Burke, Goodell; two sons, Howard, Chapin, and Harold, Mora, Minn.; one brother, Eugene Bearbower, Rowley; 14 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, five brothers and nine great grandchildren.
