John M. Daniels

Corwith - John M. Daniels, 53, died Monday afternoon at Hancock County Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Born Sept. 1, 1913, at St. John, N.D., he was the son of John and Lula Mitchell Daniels. He was married March 23, 1940 to Katherine Houston. He had been employed by the city and the school district.

Surviving are his wife, three sons, James, Corwith; John, Britt; Jerry, in Germany with the U.S. Army; three grandchildren, a brother, Milford, Mason City; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Lois) Sarvey, and Alma Hougland, Levenworth, Kan.; Mrs. Henry (Alta) Goranson, Clear Lake; Mrs. Stanley (Harriet) Clark, Joplin, Mo.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Corwith. The Rev. Frank Considine will officiate. Burial will be in Crystal Cemetery at Crystal Lake with Boughton Corwith Funeral Home in charge.
