Britt - Mrs. Edgar Clapsaddle, 87, died Monday at Hancock County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in United Methodist Church. The Rev. Howard Eldrekamp will officiate. Burial will be in Corwith Cemetery. Visitation will be at Boughton Funeral Home after Tuesday noon.
Born Jan. 4, 1883, in Iowa County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Eleanor Baker Wilhite. She was married Dec. 23, 1905 to Edgar Clapsaddle at Algona. They farmed until retiring to Britt in 1950. He died in 1954.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Zerlina Schnath, Britt; four sons, Lionel and LeRoy Clapsaddle, both of Mobridge, S.D.; Donald Clapsaddle, Mason City; 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, two brothers, Sherman Wilhite, Deep River, Iowa; Avery Wilhite, Palatka, Fla. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
