Lionel Clapsaddle

Corwith - Graveside services for Lionel K. Clapsaddle, 63, former area resident who died suddenly Sunday at his home in Mobridge, S. D., will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Corwith Cemetery.

The Rev. Ronald Cowles, of the Baptist Church, will officiate, and the Boughton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Clapsaddle was a railroad engineer, and lived for many years in the Corwith, Britt, Wesley area.

He was born March 9, 1907, in Wesley, the son of Edgar and Canis Clapsaddle. He married Iva Jacobs, June 3, 1933, in Goldfield.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Kenneth, of Alturas, Calif., and Dennis and Kelly, both of Mobridge, S. D.; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marlys) Codding, Santa Rosa, Calif., Mrs. Sandra Baughn, Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. Donald (Donna) Thorstenson, Tacoma, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Zerlina Schnath, Kansas City, Mo.; and three brothers, LeRoy, Mobridge, S. D., Donald, Phoenix, Ariz., and Lyle E., Mason City.

He was preceded in death by one son.
