We are called upon this week to report the death of one of the prominent young women of the community, Mrs. Barnet Wigen who lived northeast of Garner. She was in delicate health, but was up and around until Thursday. She was in town only last week, but on Sunday her condition became alarming and in the afternoon she was taken to a hospital at Mason City, and at 7 o'clock that evening she passed away. The cause of her death was some bowel obstruction. The remains were brought to the Shannon Undertaking Parlors in Garner, and the funeral will be held from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jens Moe this afternoon at 1 o'clock, from the Ellington Prairie Church at 2, and the remains laid to rest in Ellington Prairie cemetery.

Barget Helen Moe was born at Morris, Ill., May 7, 1898, and died at the Lutheran Hospital at Mason City June 12, 1921, at the age of 23 years, 1 month and 5 days. When she was about two years old they moved to the farm just north of Garner, and this was her home until she was married March 25, 1920, to Barnet Wigen. Since their marriage they have lived on the T. J. Olson farm east of the Ellington Prairie Church. She attended school in Garner and graduated in 1918. She later taught school about a year and a half.

Beside her husband, she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jens Moe, and two brothers and four sisters, Truman, Josie, Martha, Harry, Thelma and Theressa. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends in their bereavement.

The deceased was one of the nice girls of the community. In school, church and social circles, she was highly honored, and loved and respected by everyone. Her passing Is a sad blow to her devoted husband, and to the loved ones of the family.
