THREE YEAR OLD BOY DROWNED SUNDAY IN FARM WATER TANK

DARREL EUGENE, SON OF MR. AND MRS. V. WADDINGHAM IS VICTIM

Avery Center: Darrel Eugene, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Waddingham, drowned in the water tank Sunday evening at about 6 p.m., while the parents were doing the evening chores. The little boy was out with his parents when Mr. Waddingham went out to bring up the cattle, Mrs. Waddingham thinking he had gone with his father. It was then they missed the little fellow and found his body in the tank. Dr. W. F. Missman as called. and the respirator from Britt also arrived within a few minutes, but all effort was unsuccessful in reviving the little boy.

Darrel would have been three years old on Oct. 14. He is survived by his parents, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Waddingham and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dirks, besides other relatives.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Evangelical and Reformed church, Klemme, with the Rev. C. Grosshuesch in charge Burial was in the Klemme cemetery.
