MRS. STURGEON RITES MONDAY

Woman Who Died in Wisconsin to Be Buried Monday at Clarion

CLARION, March 7 - Mrs. Samuel Sturgeon, 83, former Clarion and Garner woman, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Koons in Lyons, Wis., Thursday afternoon will be buried Monday. She has been in ill health for several years, but her last sickness was of only two days duration.

Mrs. Sturgeon was born in Troy, N. Y. Aug. 11, 1848. She made her home with her daughter, Morna, in Lyons, Wis., since 1816 [1846]. The body arrived in Clarion today and services will be conducted by the Rev. H. O. Spelman of the Congregational church at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Granville Smith in Clarion at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial will be made in Garner cemetery. She leaves a son R. S. Sturgeon of Mason City, besides two daughters.
