GARNER: Walter H. Rosendahl, 87, of Garner, died Saturday (Feb. 24, 1990) at the Concord Care Center, Garner, of natural causes.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the United Church of Christ, Klemme, with the Rev. Don Walters officiating. Burial will be in Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme.

Visitation will be after noon Monday at Tenold Funeral Home, Klemme.

He was born Jan. 20, 1903, on a farm near Garner, a son of Frank and Louisa (Kropp) Rosendahl. He was baptized and confirmed at Peace Reformed Church, Garner. The family later moved to Klemme where they farmed, then into Klemme, where he started a construction company.

He married Ella Barz May 2, 1928, at her farm home. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, Klemme.

Survivors include his wife, Ella, Garner; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Iris) Snyder, Marion, lone Beier, Klemme, and Mrs. John (Roselea) Smith, Burlington; one son, Ardell, Klemme; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and three sisters, Mabel Schlawin and Della Josten, both of Garner, and Mrs. Verner (Louise) Priebe, Klemme.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one great grandson.
