RITES HELD FOR EDWARD KUTZNER
Former Ventura Farmer Is Brot Back to Old Home for Burial
CLEAR LAKE, July 23 - Funeral services for Edward Kutzner, 69, were held Wednesday afternoon at the United Brethren church at Ventura, the Rev. W. B. Milne officiating. Burial was made in the Ellington cemetery.
Mr. Kutzner died at his home at 107 Fifteenth street northwest, Mason City, Monday noon following a lingering illness. He was born Oct. 20, 1861 in Milwaukee, Wis., moving to a farm north of Ventura 10 years later. In this vicinity he farmed for many years. About nine years ago he retired and moved to Mason City.
Pallbearers were Charles McGrady, Jacob Stork, Walter Skene, John Hollingsworth, Ventura, and Wesley McGrady, Clear Lake. Harold Kutzner, Belle Plaine, a son, was the only out of town relative at the services.
He is survived by his wife and three sons, Wesley, Ventura; Harold, Belle Plaine, and Paul at home in Mason City. Three brothers, Otto and Herman Kutzner of Ventura, and T. R. Kutzner, South Bend, Ind., and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Colburn, Clear Lake, and Mrs. Emma Wilson, Ventura, also survive.
