Mrs. Kobie Hemmen

BRITT - Mrs. Kobie Hemmen, 74, died Monday in a Mason City hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Christian Reformed Church in Britt. The Rev. John Riemstra will officiate. Burial will be in the Christian Reformed Cemetery near Woden with Boughton Funeral Home in charge.

Born Dena Lolling Oct. 5, 1892, at Aplington, she was the daughter of Jacob and Marie Hanson Lolling. She was married to Kobie Hemmen March 31, 1924. They had farmed in the Woden Wesley area.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Marian) Seebeck, Wesley; a son, Chris Hemmen, Algona; eight grandchildren, two sisters, Mary Nordman and Mrs. Fred (Annie) Sonius, both of Britt. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
