Burt Bergan Dies in Crash After Tire Blows Out Near Forest City

FOREST CITY - An auto accident, thought by Sheriff Jack Johnston to have been caused by a blowout, Saturday night took the life of Burt Bergan, farmer 6 miles east of Forest City. The accident happened three miles east of here in the early evening. There were no witnesses and he was driving alone. Bergan's widow survives. There are no children.
