Mrs. Andreson Dies at Iowa City Hospital

FOREST CITY - Mrs. Chris Andreson died Wednesday afternoon at University Hospitals, Iowa City, following surgery. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 at the Methodist Church with Dr. O. W. Brand in charge. Burial will follow in Crystal Cemetery, Crystal Lake. The Hanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born May 23, 1888, in Canada, Mrs. Andreson was the daughter of Dave and Rita Garlach Davies. She was married to Ed Benson on Feb. 18, 1907, and he died in January, 1934. On Feb. 7, 1936, she was married to Chris Andreson.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Nonnweiler, Forest City; five sons, Duane Benson, Big Springs, Tex.; Clyde and Arlyn, Waterloo; Burtis, Forest City, and Forrest, Shakopee, Minn.; her mother, Mrs. Rita Davies, New York; a brother, the Rev. Lowell Davies, New York, and a sister, Mrs. Tiandon, in California.

Mrs. Andreson had lived in the Forest City vicinity for 64 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
