Rites Thursday for O. Andrews
BRITT - Funeral services for Oscar Andrews, 71, Superior, Wis., will be conducted at the Boughton Funeral Home Thursday at 1:30 with the Rev. Donald D. Samuelson, pastor of the Kanawha Methodist Church, in charge. He died Sunday night at Superior following an extended illness.
Mr. Andrew was born Aug. 18, 1884, in Stockholm, Sweden, to Wilhelm and Albertina Andrews. He came to the United States at the age of 9, locating at Duluth, Minn. Later he went to Minneapolis where he became a printing compositor and was a member of the International Typographical Union for more than 50 years.
On June 1, 1925, he was married to Miss Lola Farrell, a former resident of the Kanawha Corwith community. They were married in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife, Lola; one daughter, Mrs. Veikko (Pearl) Jarvi, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers.
Interment will be at the Corwith Cemetery.
