Ernest Applegate Dies, Corwith

LuVerne - Mr.and Mrs. Harry Lichty received word Tuesday morning of the death of Ernest Applegate of Corwith, brother in law of Mrs. Lichty.

Mr. Applegate, 83, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, in Mercy hospital, Mason City, where he was a patient since Friday. Surviving are his wife and his two sons and two daughters.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Thursday in the Corwith Methodist church. Burial was in the Corwith cemetery with the Earl Ellsworth Funeral Home of Emmetsburg in charge of arrangements.
