Marilla L. Jackson

BRITT: Marilla L. Jackson, 81, of Britt, died Thursday (July 29, 1993) at Oakwood Care Center, Clear Lake.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ewing Funeral Chapel, Britt, with the Rev. Dennis Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.

Marilla L. Jackson was born September 27, 1911, at Corwith.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur Hampe, Bode, and Melvin Hampe, Denver, Colo.; one stepson, Andrew Jackson Jr., Goshen, Ind.; one daughter, Mary May, Clear Lake; five step daughters, Dorothy Vance, Des Moines, Eleanor Hogen, Le Center, Minn., Darlene Price, Earlham, Arlene Evans, Westminster, Md., and Eunice Beener, Albert Lea, Minn.; and 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, 31 step grandchildren and 45 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, one granddaughter, one sister, one brother and one half-brother.
