Ennen Rites Held Monday

Mrs. Andrew Ennen of Britt Buried at Evergreen Cemetery

Britt - Funeral services for Mrs. Andrew Ennen, who died Friday, were held Monday afternoon at the Lutheran church, with the Rev. John Mohr in charge. Burial was in Britt Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Ennen was born March 22, 1864, in Germany. She married Andrew Ennen and they farmed near Britt until 1921, when they retired and moved to Britt.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: John Ennen, S. Dak.; Mrs. Abe Rankin, Spencer; Pete Ennen, S. Dak.; Mrs. Henry Steinlich, Corwith; Mrs. Roy Wagoner, Waterloo; Henry and Anton Ennen, Britt, and Jake Ennen, Garner. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Glen and Betty Ennen.

Pallbearers were Thomas Fox, Jack Lopitz, Charles Botsford, Alfred Wollen, William Minor, and John Deibler.
