Funeral Saturday for Hayfield Man

Britt - Funeral services for Herman O. Harringa, 68, of Hayfield were held Saturday afternoon at the Boughton Funeral Home in Britt and at 1:30 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church, the Rev. B. A. Rust, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. He died Wednesday at a hospital in Mason City.

Survivors include the wife, four sons, Benjamin, of Garner, Henry, Alfred and Herbert, at home, and three daughters, Mrs. Henry Oudekerk and Mrs. Emil Oudekerk both of Morrison, Ill., and Mrs. Richard Scholl of Mason City.

Mr. Harringa was a farmer most of his life, living in the communities of Grundy Center, Parkersburg, Titonka, Buffalo Center, Woden and most recently Hayfield.
