Rose Smith

BRITT - Rose Smith, 89, of Britt, died Saturday (Aug. 1, 1992) at West View Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Wesley, with the Rev. Lyndon Roesler officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Garry Roberts Murphy Schaaf Funeral Home, Wesley, and one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the church.

Rose Smith was born Feb. 27, 1903, in Hungary.

Survivors include two daughters, Pearl Gremmer, Britt, and Joyce Nielsen, Aurora, Ill.; one son, Glen Smith, Wesley; two sisters, Anna Young, Marengo, Ill., and Eva Banko, Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Peter Render, Mount Prospect, Ill.; and 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, one sister, two brothers and two grandsons.
