Orville Smith

BRITT — Funeral services for Orville Smith, 74, who died Wednesday at his home in Britt, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Wesley. The Rev. Herbert Shaffer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

Visitation was to be from 6 p.m. Thursday until 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Boughton Cataldo Funeral Home, Britt.

Mr. Smith was a retired farmer in the Wesley and Britt areas.

He is survived by his wife, Rose: three daughters, Mrs.. Pearl Gremmer, Britt; Mrs. James (Shirley) Kuchenreuther, Marshalltown, and Mrs. James (Joyce) Nielsen, Aurora, Ill.; a son, Glen, Wesley; two brothers, William and Glenn, both of Britt; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
