Floyd Smith

BRITT — Floyd Smith, 91, of Britt, died Sunday (Sept. 6, 1992) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dennis Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation is after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ewing Funeral Chapel in Britt with an I.O.O.F. service at 7 Wednesday night at the funeral home.

Floyd Smith was born Feb. 14, 1901, in Monroe County.

Survivors include his wife, Icyle; one daughter, Phyllis Korneisel, Britt; one son, Charles of Britt; one sister, Mildred Frimodt, Bradenton, Fla.; one brother, Peter Paul Smith, Woden; and six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
