BRITT - Funeral services for Lillie Madson, 80, of Lemmon, S.D., and formerly of the Britt area, will be today in Lemmon, where she died.

Evenson Jensen Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements there.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery , Britt, with Cataldo Funeral Home, Britt , in charge of arrangements.

Miss Madson was born Dec. 7, 1904, on a farm near Britt to John and Dora Madson. She graduated from Escambie County Public School in Pensacola, Fla., and received nurses training in 1926 at Pensacola Hospital Training School for Nurses.

She was in the Nurses Corps in World War II, stationed at Beaumont General Hospital in El Paso, Texas. She later moved to Lemmon, where she worked in the hospital there for many years.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ann Levy of Lake Charles, La.
