Maude Frisbie
BRITT - Mrs. Maude Frisbie, 94, Britt, died Wednesday (Nov. 24, 1982) at a Kanawha nursing home.
Mrs. Frisbie was born in 1888 in Shelby, the daughter of Free and Anna Belle (Stigman) Fitzgerald. She married Ben J. Frisbie in 1914 in Fort Dodge. They lived in Stilson and Dolliver and farmed in the Corwith area until moving to Britt in 1917. They also lived in Riceville for a time. Mrs. Frisbie attended the Evangelical Free Church, Britt, and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Britt.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, Britt. The Rev. Robert Nieuwendorp, of the Evangelical Free Church, Britt, and the Rev. Francis Cassidy, of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Corwith, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.
Visitation will be after 1:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Annabelle) Ezarski, Corwith; four granddaughters and 12 great-grandchildren; one sister. Mrs. Adrian (Dorothy) Gragert, Spring Valley. Minn., and one brother, Cecil Fitzgerald, Chester.
