ABSTRACTED OBITUARY from Forest City Summit, Dec. 7, 1961

Hilton P. Hanson, 49 of Crystal Lake died Nov. 29 at Britt.

He was born Jan. 23. 1912 at St. Croix Falls, Wis., son of Peter and Anna Larson Hanson. He attended Moody Bible institute. He married Eleanor Ingebretson Sept. 1, 1941 at Mahnomen, Mn. He was ordained a minister at East Rock Creek Baptist church at Rush City, Mn. Also lived at Mpls., Lake Norden, S. D. and retired near Crystal Lake.

Survived by his wife, one son Allen; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter A. Hanson of Britt; 2 sisters, Vera Hanson of Rockford, Ill. and Mrs. Lyle (Evelyn) Dallman of Britt; one foster brother, Orrin Smith of Forest City.

Preceded by a brother and a foster sister. Burial in Crystal cemetery at Crystal Lake.
