ABSTRACTED OBITUARY from Forest City Summit, Dec. 14, 1961

Oscar Hope, 81, Forest City area farmer for 45 years died at his home at Scarville Tues.

He was born March 30, 1880 in Norway.

Survived by his wife, Ingeborg; 6 sons, Edward and Stanley of Scarville, Arthur and Clarence of Los Angeles, Calif.; Obed of Chicago and George of Sioux City; 2 daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Gladys) Olson of Ventura and Mrs. Nile (Judith) Sutter of Latimer and 16 grandchildren.

Services at Imm. Luth. church at Scarville and burial in Crystal Cemetery at Crystal Lake.
