Hold Last Rites
Corwith - Funeral services were to be held at the Methodist church Wednesday for Mrs. Dave Hillary, former resident here, who died at the home of a daughter at Maynard. She lived in Corwith until a few years ago when she moved to Maynard to be near her daughter.

Iowa Deaths
Maynard - Mrs. Henrietta Hillary, 91, Sunday at Mercy hospital, Oelwein, where she was taken Monday night by ambulance after severe heart attack, came to Maynard five years ago from Corwith, where she had lived for over 50 years: spent winter months with daughter: preceded in death by husband 24 years ago: leaves two daughters, Mrs. Marshal Barge, Decorah; Mrs. A. W. Parsons, Maynard: two sons, Roy Hillary, Spirit Lake; Melvin Hillary, Long Beach, Cal; six grandsons, eight great grandchildren; services were here Tuesday and the body was taken to Corwith Wednesday morning for burial.

Mrs. Henrietta Hillary
Henrietta, daughter of William and Elizabeth Osborne, was born at Shullsburg, Wisc., on Feb. 16, 1858 and died Jan. 29, at Mercy Hospital, Oelwein, after a brief illness. She was 91.
In 1882, she was married to David Hillary, of Shullsburg, Wisc. In 1889, they came to Corwith, Iowa, where she resided until seven years ago, when she purchased her present home in Maynard where she has since lived.
She was a charter member of Paradise Chapter No 384 of the Order of Eastern Stars of Corwith, Iowa.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1926.
She is survived by two daughters, Myrtle, now Mrs. Marshall Barge, Decorah; Hazel, now Mrs. A. W. Parsons, Maynard, and two sons, Ray, of Spirit Lake, and Melvin, of Long Beach, Cal. Six grandsons and seven great grand daughters, also survive. The six grandsons acted as casket bearers.
Short services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Delsing funeral home, Maynard, the body was taken to Corwith on Wednesday where services were held with burial in the Corwith cemetery.
