Mrs. Ida Haes died at 73; Rites at Garner

Garner - Mrs. Ida E. Haes, 73, died Saturday at the Hancock Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church here. The Rev. A. T. Rueber of St. John's Lutheran, will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home in charge. The body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. to the time of services.

The daughter of Carl and Johanna Lenz, she was born Dec. 29, 1887, in Germany. She came to this country in 1900 and had lived in this vicinity since her marriage to Ben Haes in 1906.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Irene Wall, Sacramento, Calif.; a son, Gordon, Garner; four grandchildren, four brothers and a sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Benjamin, two daughters, Martha Jane and Dorothea Emma.
