George Strate Rites Conducted at Garner

Garner, March 30 - Funeral services for George Strate, 54, were held at the Methodist church at Gordonsville, Minn., yesterday morning followed by services in the afternoon at the C. L. Strate home here.

George Strate was married to Pearl Bowers of Garner Feb. 8, 1905. They lived on a farm near here for five years and then moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, where they remained seven years and returned to Garner for one year. They purchased a farm at Gordonsville.

Surviving are his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Harold Rabe of Gordonsville and Mrs. George Nelson of Albert Lea, three grand-daughters and three brothers, C. L. Strate of Garner, Charles Strate of Rockford and John of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and one sister, Mrs. Paul Gast, Ventura, and his father, William Strate of Garner.
