Garner Pioneer Resident Dies
Rites Sunday for Mrs. Goll, 83; Six Sons and Seven Daughters Survive.

Garner - Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Goll, 83, resident of Garner and vicinity for 54 years, will be held Sunday afternoon at the Zion Reformed church of which she was a member. The Rev. William Huenemann, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Calvin Grosshuesch of Klemme will be in charge.

She died at her home early Thursday evening. Christina Neidmeyer was born Nov. 10, 1852, at Knittlingen, Germany, where she was married to John Goll Feb. 13, 1873. Coming to Garner in March, 1882, they settled on a farm in Liberty township, 6 miles southwest, where they lived until 1907, when they came to Garner. Her husband died June 17, 1919. Surviving are six sons and seven daughters. Four children died in infancy.

The children are: Gottlob of Klemme, Mrs. Louisa Barz, Mrs. Nonie Greiman, Mrs. Reka Haberkamp, Charles, John, George, Jacob, Mrs. Bertha Haes, Mrs. Mary Upmeyer, Mrs. Bertha Haes, Mrs. Lillie Quintus and Ben, all of Garner. There are 43 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Interment will be in Concord cemetery, near Garner.
