Blaine Gildea

Garner - Funeral services for Blaine W. Gildea, 66, Laurens, were held at the Laurens Methodist Church. Interment was in the Concord Cemetery in Garner. Gildea died at his home in Laurens following a long illness.

He was associated with the Laurens State Bank for 21 years, and in later years was assistant cashier and member of the board.

He is survived by his wife, the former Verona R. Baggs, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John R. Baggs of Garner; a daughter, Veree, Mrs. Louis Kepler of Ankeny, a brother and sister.
