Conduct Rites Of A. L. Liska

Duncan Man Dies at Home of Son; Burial Is Made Near Garner

Garner - Funeral services were held Thursday morning from St. Wenceslaus Catholic church for Albert J. Liska of Duncan, who died at the home of his son, John Liska, Tuesday morning. The service was in charge of Father J. Skluzacek and burial was by the side of his wife in St. Boniface cemetery west of Garner.

Liska was born in Bohemia, and came to this country in early infancy with his parents, settling at Spillville, later coming to Hancock county at the age of 20 and living here continuously since.

Pallbearers were his six grandsons, Leo, Walter, Donald, John and Cletus Liska and Raymond Horecka.
