BRITT — Funeral services for Mrs. Eleanora Madson, 81, who died Tuesday at a Britt hospital, are pending at the Carter Funeral Home in Britt.

Mrs. Madson was a lifelong resident of Hancock County and a teacher in the Britt rural schools.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Richard Wyatt, Britt; Mrs. Lyle Ludeke, Richmond, Va.; Mrs. Howard Sible, Bettendorf, and Mrs. Theodore Rumeliote, Mason City; one son, Holger, Britt; 28 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jack Bird, Tampa, Fla., and a brother, William Forest City.
