Mrs. Rudisill, Woden, Dies at Clarion

Woden - Mrs. Isaiah (Mary) Rudisill, 92, died Thursday morning at the home of her son, Lloyd, in Clarion. She had been ill for two months.

Mrs. Rudisill was born June 15, 1863, at Brookville, Ill., the daughter of Peter and Eliza Michel Paul. She was educated in Illinois. On June 16, 1882, she was married to Isaiah Rudisill at Brookville. They farmed in Illinois, in South Dakota and in Kansas before coming to Woden. She lived here for 35 years.

Her husband died in December, 1922.

Surviving are two sons, Lloyd and John, Woden; four daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Bertha) Mauss, Estherville; Mrs. Chris (Anna) Wickman, Boone; Lydia Gruenwald, Clarion, and Mrs. Charles (Pearl) Murr, 3 Hazel Court, Mason City; 29 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. She was the last member of the parental family of 14 children.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Woden preceded by a prayer at the Boughton Funeral Home, Britt. Interment will be at the Bingham Cemetery at Woden. The Rev. F. W. Shreve and the Rev. C. W. Mitchell will officiate.
