Woden - Funeral services for Charles Baack, former Woden resident were held Friday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church. He died suddenly at his home at Mapleton Minn., at the age of 53 years. He leaves his wife, 4 daughters an a son.

Charles Baack Funeral Held Friday, Woden
Woden - Funeral services for Charles Baack, who was formerly a resident of Woden, were held last Friday afternoon, May 4, at St. John's Lutheran church with the Rev. Kolberg, former pastor, officiating.
Mr. Baack died suddenly at his home at Mapleton, Minn., on Monday, April 30, at the age of 53 years. He had been in his usual health although several years ago he suffered a severe heart attack from which he never fully recovered.
Mr. and Mrs. Baack and family lived in Woden for many years until a few years ago when they moved to Ventura and later to Mapleton, Minn.
Surviving are his wife and four daughters: Mrs. Willard Moler, Velma, of Mapleton; Cpl. Ruby Baack of Camp Detrick, Fredrick, Maryland; Eunice Baack who is in the WAVES and stationed at Hunter College, New York; and Betty at home. One son survives, Cpl. LeRoy Baack who is in service in the Philippines. One child died in infancy.
Burial was in Bingham cemetery.
