Ila Greiman

GARNER — Mrs. Ila Greiman, 77, of Garner, died Sunday (March 20, 1983) in a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Peace Reformed Church, south of Garner, with the Rev. Steven Work officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.

Visitation is after 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, Garner.

She was born Feb. 28, 1906, in Colorado and moved with her family to Woodward. They lived there until 1919 when they moved to the Hanlontown area. She graduated from Manly High School in 1923.

After receiving her teaching certificate from Monmouth (Ill.) College, she taught in the Lake Mills and Boland areas for six years.

On Aug. 7, 1931, she married Clarence Greiman at Garner and they farmed south of Garner all of their married lives.

Mrs. Greiman was a member of Peace Reformed Church and the Homemakers Club.

She is survived by a son, Byron Greiman, Garner; three grandsons; four brothers, Ray Jontz, Guy Jontz and Robert Jontz, all of Stuart, and Leo Jontz, Perry; and a sister-in-law, Daisy Jontz, Menlo.
