GARNER — Mrs. Ruth Greiman, 81, of Garner, died Monday (Aug. 26, 1985) at a Britt hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Peace Reformed Church, south of Garner. The Rev. Steven Work will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Ruth Greiman was born Nov. 8, 1903, at LuVerne to Ferd and Emma (Biggins) Schipull. She attended school at LuVerne until moving to Garner with her family in her sophomore year. She graduated from Garner High School in 1921. After graduating from business college in Mankato, Minn., she worked as a secretary for the Hancock County Auditor's Office in Garner.

On March 26, 1925, she was married to Addis Greiman at the Peace Reformed parsonage. They farmed south of Garner all their married lives, and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.

She was a member of the Peace Reformed Church, the Ladies Missionary Society, the Iowa Angus Ladies Auxiliary and the Homemakers Club.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel, Garner.

Survivors include her husband, Addis; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Zivic, W. Hartford, Conn.; two sons, Donald and Clifford, both of Garner; one sister, Mrs. Aliene Arnett, Loveland, Colo.; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
