Clara Mortenson

CRYSTAL LAKE — Mrs. Clara Mortenson, 86, longtime resident of Crystal Lake, died Tuesday (Feb. 2, 1982) at the Forest City hospital.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church here, the Rev. Joe Lee officiating. Burial will be in Madison Township Cemetery, Forest City. Visitation is after noon today at Petersen Funeral Home, Forest City, and at the church prior to service.

Mrs. Mortenson is survived by a son, LuVerne Helland, Crystal Lake; two stepsons, Newman Mortenson, Dunkerton, and Henry Mortenson, Bemidji, Minn.; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Ceola) Hefte, Billings, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Mrs, Robert (Agnes) Kellogg, Taopi, Minn., and Mrs. Amos (Minnie) Carter, Vancouver, Wash.: six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl and Racine Jacobsen, both of Albert Lea, Minn., and Ludvig Jacobsen Mason City, and a sister, Mrs. Emil (Hannah) Hestad, Almena, Wis.
