Obituary

EMMA STILLE TERHUFEN

Emma Stille Terhufen, youngest daughter of Henry and Louise Stille was born at De-molt,
Missouri, on September 13, 1872. Several years later she moved with her parents to Hancock
County, and spent her childhood on a farm in Liberty Township, where she became a member of
the Methodist Church.

In the fall of 1894 she was united in marriage to John Henry Terhufen. Practically all their
married life was spent on a farm around Klemme.

In March of 1939 her husband passed away and 'she spent her remaining years in Klemme.

During the past year her health began to fail and in March she became bedfast. She passed
away to her heavenly home on May 9th, 1962.

She leaves two sons, Howard of Mason City and Glen of Klemme; two grandsons Roger and Warren
of Des Moines, and one brother, John of Klemme, other relatives and friends.

Two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Schuldt and Mrs. Frank Gruetzmacher and two brothers, William and
Herman Stille preceded her in death.
