Mrs. Mary Steil of Garner, 82, Dies; 3 Children Survive

GARNER—Mrs. Mary Steil, 82, widow, died Sunday night at 8:30 o'clock following an illness of several months in her home here. Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Tom Redding, sons, Ed J., of Garner, Jake N,, of Britt and Albert. Funeral services will be at St. Boniface Catholic church here.

Rites Will Be Held Tuesday at Garner for Mrs. Steil, 81

GARNER—Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Steil, 81, widow, who died Sunday night in her home here will be held Wednesday morning at St. Boniface Catholic church, in charge of the Rev. M. J. Manternach. Born at Dansville, N. Y., on June 17, 1855, she was married to J. Steil in June, 1876, at Mineral Point, Wis., where they remained until 1901. They then came to Garner and purchased a farm four miles northeast, where they lived until 1911. They purchased a home in the south part of town. Her husband died in 1921. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Redding, sons, Ed J., both of Garner, Jacob N. of near Britt and Albert of near Clear Lake. Five grandchildren survive. Interment will be in St. Boniface cemetery west of Garner.

GARNER — Mrs. Christene Lydecker returned to Omaha, having been called here by the illness and death of her sister, Mrs. Mary Steil. Other relatives who also returned this weekend were Mrs. Gus Nolan, Prairie du Chien, Wis., Jake Malter and Miss Orabella Malter, Avoca, Wis.
