SOURCE: Title unknown, however, it was a newsletter/newspaper published by the United Methodist Church and sent to its district Methodist parishes. Uncertain if the printing was from the Dubuque, Iowa district or in Des Moines, Iowa. This one was sent to the United Methodist Church in Elgin, Iowa summer of 1988 or fall.

Lurley was born June 12, 1900, the daughter of George and Florence (Nickerson) Wilson in Macon County, Illinois. She married Harry E. Buss in 1922 and together they served the former Evangelical United Brethren Churches at Columbus City, Letts, Morley, Hudson, Gladbrook, Washington Chapel, Aredale and Zearing, Iowa. Her husband retired from the ministry in 1969 and died in 1978.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Merlin Dean Buss and a grandson.
Survivors include a son, Harlan H. Buss, Sioux City, Iowa; 2 daughters, Harriet Schatzberg, Cedar Falls, Iowa and Beverly Marolf, Owatonna, Minnesota; a sister, Leafy Coobs, Klemme; a brother, Robert Wilson, Columbus, Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
