Death of Mrs. Frank Matheson

Mrs. Fanny Louise Matheson, wife of Frank Matheson, died at her home six miles south of Britt, on Friday, May 13, the cause of her death being lung trouble.

The deceased, whose maiden name was Fanny Louise Strong, daughter of Stephen Strong, of Britt, was born in Michigan in 1878, and came to Hancock county, Iowa, nine years ago, which place has since been her home. She was married to Frank Matheson, who survives her, on January 7, 1903.

The funeral services were held at the Congregational church in Britt, of which the deceased was a member, on Monday, May 16, at 11 o'clock, Rev. C. G. Marshall officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery.
