Timothy Hall dies after being struck by car

Timothy Jim Hall, a 17 1/2-month old boy, died at a Mason City hospital Sunday afternoon from injuries received when a car driven by his mother, Susan Hall, backed over him, authorities reported. The incident took place at the farm home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Hall, southeast of Forest City where the boy and his mother resided.

Funeral services were held for Timothy Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Faith Lutheran church in Miller. Officiating clergymen were the Rev. Tom Ruess, the Rev. Kenneth J. Helmke and the Rev. B. Gordon Packard.

Mrs. Nancy Anderson served as organist and vocal music was provided by students from Garner high school and the congregation.

Casket bearers were Michael Pinneke, Mark Juhl, Mark Tendall and Mark Mattis. Interment was at Madison township cemetery in Forest City with Olson-Petersen Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Timothy was born in Forest City on May 15, 1975, the son of Susan Hall and the late Jim Lawrence Pinneke. He is survived by his mother; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Hall of Forest City; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Pinneke of Garner; his maternal great-grandmothers, Mrs. Lena Hall of Forest City and Mrs. Mina Kofoot of Mason City; his paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hansen of Garner and Mrs. Rose Pinneke of Mason City; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
