Services for Mrs. Sue Wilson, 90, of Garner, who died Thursday, Dec. 24, 1987 at Concord Manor Care Center in Garner were held 10:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Garner with Rev. Msgr. Roger E. O'Brien as celebrant. Ron McCabe served as lector.

Mrs. Ronald Kumsher, organist, accompanied soloist, Lucile Wesson and the church choir. Ushers were Elmer Urich and Robert Kral.

Casket bearers were Terry Frein, Mark Frein, Brad Frein, Mike Frein, James Frein, and Norm Lunning.

Burial was in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Garner. Visitation, parish rosary and scriptural wake service were held at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner.

Mrs. Susan Jane Wilson, the daughter of Anton and Mary (Heimer) Frein, was born December 28, 1896 at Stacyville. After graduating from Stacyville High School she worked as a housekeeper for her brother, Father Frederick Frein until 1930.

December 28, 1933, she was married to Jess C. Wilson at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville. They lived their entire married life in Garner, where they owned and operated the Arcade Billiard Parlor until 1945, when they sold it to the Gilles brothers. Sue continued to live in Garner after her husband's death in 1962.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Rosary Society and Garner Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her stepdaughter, Mrs. Mildred Ades of Omaha, NE; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Julia Frein of Osage, Mrs. Nellie Frein of Marionville, MO and Mrs. Marguerite Frein of Waterloo; a brother-in-law, Lester Owens from Nebraska and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess C. Wilson; her stepdaughter, Mrs. Jeanette McNitt; her parents; six brothers, Matthew Frein, John Frein, Joseph Frein, Father Frederick Frein, Edward Frein and Henry Frein; and three sisters, Mrs. Rose Wolf, Mrs. Elizabeth Kasel, and Mrs. Sybelle Jordan Owens.
