Services for Henrietta E. Studer, 87, of Garner who died Saturday, April 8, 1995 at Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City will be Wednesday, April 12, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Garner with the Rev. John W. Hemann as celebrant. Mrs. Robert Young will be lector.

Mrs. Ronald Kumsher, organist, will accompany the church choir. Ushers will be Elmer Urich and Robert Kral.

Casket bearers will be: Gary Studer, Roger Kopacek, Michael Studer, Dr. L. R. Fuller, Pat McCabe and Dean Cataldo.

Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Garner. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner with a 4:30 p.m. Rosary Society rosary and a 7 p.m. Scriptural Wake service.

Henrietta Ellen Studer, the daughter of Herman K. and Mary Ellen (Lynch) Cook was born October 20, 1907 at Grundy Center. She attended school at Grundy Center and then moved with her family to Corwith where she graduated from Corwith High School in 1927.

On July 16, 1934, she married Maurice Edward Studer in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Corwith. They lived in Whittemore, Wesley and then in 1942, moved to Garner. Henrietta worked for several businesses and families in Garner for many years. In March of 1991, she moved to Mason City, due to ill health.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Rosary Society.

Survivors include a son, Jerry E. Studer and his wife, Regina, of Mason City; a daughter, Linda J. Anderson and her husband, Keith, of Mason City; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special family members, Mary Lou Martin of Pelican Lake, WI and Douglas Peterson of Pensacola, FL; a brother, Herman B. Cook and his wife, Marie, of Cedar Falls and a sister-in-law, Bettie Cook of Sioux Falls, SD.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Studer, December 17, 1987: her parents; two sisters, Mildred Cook and Sadie Mae Cook and two brothers, Donald Cook and a brother in infancy.
