1898-1985

Services for Fred Graber, 86, of Woden, who died Sunday at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City were held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 19 at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Woden with Rev. Carroll E. Robinson of the United Methodist Church in Forest City as officiant. Mrs. Dean Cataldo served as organist and vocalist.

Casketbearers were: Robert Graber, Roger Graber, Herman Helmers, Arnold Helmers, Dale Helmers and Robert Freidhof. Burial was in Bingham Township Cemetery at Woden. Visitation was held at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Woden.

He is survived by his wife, Ollie, of Woden; his children, Charles Graber of Woden, Mrs. Dennis (Candace) Benjegerdes of Manly, Duwayne Graber of Albert Lea, Minn., and his step-daughter, Mrs. Walter (Corrine) Melton of Columbus, Ga.; two grandchildren, Cheri and Daniel Benjegerdes; two step-grandchildren, Elizabeth Melton and Mrs. Martin (Candi) Taylor; two step great-grandchildren; a brother, Archie Graber and his wife, Hazel, of Thompson; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepson, Maynard Riggle; his parents; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Sandbe, Mrs. Florence Steward and Mrs. Gertrude Curley; two brothers, Frank Graber and Clarence Graber.
