Services for Dean Eisenmann, 61, Woden, who died Wednesday, May 11, 1988 at the Forest City Community Hospital were held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 14 at the United Methodist Church in Titonka with Rev. Lloyd Nussbaum as officiant.

Mrs. Jack Tieman, organist, accompanied soloist, Mrs. Lamont Junkermeier.

Casket bearers were Henry Ullmann, Floyd Ullmann, Gary Zwiefel, Dick Trunkhill, Harvey Heyer and Monty Schlawin.

Graveside military rites were conducted by the Woden Veterans Ceremonial Unit at Bingham Township Cemetery in Woden. Visitation was held at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Woden.

Dean Curtis Eisenmann, the son of Clifford and Mattie E. (Murr) Eisenmann, was born July 29, 1926 at Woden. He attended the rural schools of Bingham Township and graduated from Woden High School in 1943. He drove trucks until 1945, when he entered the U.S. Army, where he served in the Air Force until June of 1947. For several years, he worked for Harold Miller as a trucker.

December 30, 1951, he married Clara Rike at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Titonka. Dean farmed on the Eisenmann home place near Woden and was also a truck driver for Harvey Heyer and Glen Squier. He had worked at Winnebago Industries at Forest City from 1972 until 1985. His hobbies included reading, mechanics and traveling.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Woden, Woden American Legion Post and the National Rifleman's Association.

He is survived by his wife, Clara of Woden; his children, Douglas and his wife, Diane of Forest City, Carol of Estherville, Mrs. Julie Ward and her husband, Robin of Forest City, Mrs. Lori Twait and her husband, Randall of Forest City and David and his wife, Jill of Woden; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Jennifer, Jimmy, Ashlea, Rachael, Christina and Curtis; his mother, Mrs. Mattie E. Eisenmann of Garner; his sister, Mary Ann Eisenmann of Mason City; two brothers LeRoy and his wife, Mary Jo of Madison, WI and Paul and his wife, Emily of Algona.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford and his brother Wayne.
