Services for Mrs. Teresa Brandt, 67, of Woden, who died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1987 at the Forest City Community Hospital were held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 27 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Woden with Rev. Father Kenneth Stecher as officiant.

Francis Harrington, organist, accompanied the Sacred Heart Parish Choir.

Casket bearers were Hanford Brock, Charles Rudisill, Bryon Kurtzleben, Allan Hanna, Collin Fjetland and Harry Schutter.

Burial was in Bingham Township Cemetery with the Cataldo Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Teresa Brandt, the daughter of Michael and Joesephine (Berg) Seidl, was born June 28, 1920 in Austria. At the age of three, she came to the United States with her parents and settled in Buffalo, N.Y. where she received her education.

November 26, 1942, she was married to Leroy Brandt in Buffalo, N.Y. They resided in Buffalo until 1951, when they moved to a farm near Woden, where they lived the rest of their married life. She enjoyed music, cooking, and her family.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Ladies Guild. She had taught catechism for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy, of Woden; her children, Leroy, Jr. of Thompson, Michael and his wife, Katie, of Pendleton, Ore., Mrs. Teresa Ann Couvillion and her husband, Donald of Cambridge, Mass., Paul and his wife, Susan, of Pendleton, Ore., Mrs. Marie Steenlage and her husband, Jerry, of Cheteck, Wisc. and Donald of Los Angeles; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Julia) Stutz and Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Powell, both of Buffalo, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Michael Seidl and an infant sister and brother.
