Services for Mrs. Dalia Anderson, 73, of Woden, who died Thursday at Concord Manor Nursing Home in Garner were held 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 16 at the United Methodist Church in Woden with Rev. Keith Hauser as officiant. Mrs. Arlene Rittenhouse, organist, accompanied Daryl Richeson, soloist.

Casketbearers were grandsons: Sam TerBeek, Mark TerBeek, John TerBeek, Paul TerBeek, Sherman Beye, Michael Isebrand and Daniel D. Smith.

Burial was in Bingham Township Cemetery in Woden. The Cataldo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Dalia Celia Anderson, the daughter of August and Mary (Carstensen) Blandau was born October 10, 1905 at Gladbrook, Iowa. She attended school and grew to adulthood in the Bancroft area.

September 14, 1922 she was married to Sam TerBeek at Buffalo Center. They farmed west of Buffalo Center until 1931 when they moved to the Woden area where they farmed until Mr. TerBeek's death, January 10, 1952. Dalia moved into Woden and on August 20, 1953 was married to Walter Anderson at Buffalo Center. They had lived in Woden since that time.

She attended the United Methodist Church in Woden and was a member of the W.S.C.S. Her hobbies were painting china and caring for her flower garden.

She is survived by her husband, Walter; her children Mrs. Richard (Gladiola) Isebrand of Titonka, Mrs. John (Marjorie) Beye of Osage, Mrs. Lorin (Marcella) Fjetland of Garner and Harold TerBeek and his wife, Marilyn of Woden; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Klaus (Rosella) Paul of Piedmont, Missouri; two brothers, Emil Blandau of Spokane, Washington and Ray Blandau of Sun City, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam TerBeek; her parents; and a sister, Mrs Phillip (Evelyn) Maas and a grandson.
