Services for Jennifer Nedved, 16, of rural Britt, who died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1986, the result of an auto accident east of Garner, were held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 25 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Garner with Rev. James Lamb as officiant.

Mrs. Dean Cataldo, organist, accompanied soloist, Joel Doble and a mixed quartet, Molly McClintock, Danielle Holt, Greg Fuller and Brent Cataldo. Ushers were John Haugen, Arnold Steege, Ray Radloff and Don Berhow.

Honorary casket bearers were Tara Thorson, Shannon Gouge, Raylene Hylland, Melissa Larson, Cindy Greiman and Ellen Kraus.

Active casket bearers were Eric Best, Jeff Reichardt, Chad Johnson, Kevin McCormick, Jay Waddingham, Mark Waddingham and Dennis Klesel.

Burial was in Concord Township Cemetery in Garner. Visitation was held at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner.

Jennifer Jo Nedved, daughter of Vern and Mareen (Haes) Nedved and Mrs. Jeff (Jo Ellen) Olson Bantz was born September 7, 1970 at Britt. She attended school at the Garner-Hayfield Community School where she was a member of the Junior Class. Jennifer had been a cheerleader and was active in track.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, having been confirmed in April of 1984. She had taught a class in Vacation Bible School.

She is survived by her parents: Vern and Mareen Nedved of rural Britt and Mrs. Jeff (Jo Ellen) Bantz of Mason City; five brothers, Travis Nedved, Chad Nedved, Jason Nedved, Wade Nedved and Aaron Nedved, all at home; two sisters, Lyndsee Bantz and Jaime Bantz, both at home; grandparents, Leo and Dorothy Nedved of Garner, Gordon and Shirley Haes of Garner and Palmer and Vera Olson of Mason City; and her great-grandmother, Mrs. Rose Formanek of Garner.
